Chris Moore was chosen as the 2020 Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) Designee of the Year. Chris is an expert on using universal design principles to build and remodel homes to help seniors age in place. He has more than 38 years of experience in the residential construction industry. In 2001, he founded Solid Rock Enterprises, Inc., to provide quality building, remodeling, and consulting services in the Roanoke Valley of Virginia. Chris also teaches the CAPS curriculum through the National Association of Home Builders and speaks to groups on aging in place, universal design, home modification, and home safety.
