If you are short-staffed or are looking to create a new talent pipeline, join us for an informational lunch to learn how to launch an Apprenticeship Program in your organization. The Salem-Roanoke County Chamber is partnering with the Virginia Department of Education to host a workshop on the Career Technical Education (CTE) program with special focus on our Regional Apprenticeship Program. This program is brought to you by Greater Roanoke Workforce Development Board. By the end of this workshop, you will be on your way to establishing an Apprenticeship Program for this school year!
The meeting agenda includes:
- An info session from the Virginia Department of Education on the 12 different program levels.
- A panel discussion with Roanoke, RoCo, and Salem School Administrators
- A panel of Company Reps with Experience in the Apprenticeship Program ready to share their thoughts and experience.
